Expectations:
(Pit to Bracket) Whack Traffic Control will swiftly move fighters into pits in a feeder line under a time limit. Each discipline pit will be given 12 - 15 minutes depending on participants.
When you are directed into a pit:
Enter through an opening.
Touch weapons and take one step back before fighting.
Each pit will have 1 tab that will track wins and streaks; 2 active Reeves
Upon death, the dead fighter(s) will step out of the pit side furthest away from the feeder line and re-enter the feeder line in the back.
Simultaneous death, both fighters exit the pit and 2 new fighters enter.
Winner will loudly announce their fighter number.
There will be a rest / hydration period between pits for each Discipline, and than a rest / hydration period before each bracket.
If you are next in line to enter a pit, but need a delay, please step to the side until you are ready, so the next eager fighter may jump in. And efficient line ensure that fighters receive numerous opportunities to establish wins and streaks to earn a spot in brackets.
Barring injury or other significant event (at the Tournament Crats’ discretion) players who qualify for brackets after the pit portion are expected to compete in the bracket portion.
All weapons will be checked before the tournament begins and re-checked in-between pit portions and brackets. If your weapon is deemed illegal we ask you partially remove the cover or use flagging tape provided to mark the weapon. This helps ensure in the heat of the moment you are not accidentally grabbing a weapon that could potentially cause harm.
Hydration Station:
A Hydration station will be provided at the end of the feeder line. Please feel free to drink water while in the feeder line. A trash can will be provided at both the beginning and end of the feeder line.
Honor:
All Reeves are encouraged to recommend Griffons actions and positive Tournament occurrences to the tabulators actively during competition. All recommendations will be passed to the kingdom monarchy at the end of the tournament and sent to fighters' respective kingdoms for acknowledgement.
Tournament Outcomes and Data:
The Tournament Crat will post the full tournament outcome 1st - 4th place in all contests on the Facebook event site, and the Empire of Rivermoor Facebook group page. All tab data, ranking sheets etc. Are scanned after the event and will be available upon request from the Tournament Crat.
Culture:
The Empire of Rivermoor strives for a healthy fighting culture that emphasizes comradery,
growth, honor, and good fundamentals. If at any point during the tournament a competitor
has questions or concerns about their experience, please inform the Tournament Crat as soon as possible. Emotions run high, there is tough competition, and we want everyone to have a fair and respectful experience. If we don’t know there’s a problem, we cannot fix it.

Single Short, Florentine Short, Short Sword +
Medium Shield, Open (no weapons over 9 feet)
Pit Tiebreakers:
To be used when bracketing for each discipline; brackets are double elimination whether 8,16, 32 fighters
1st tiebreaker: longest pit streak in said discipline
2 or 4-Person Tie
If after streak tiebreaker there remains an even-number proceed to 2nd tiebreaker
2nd tiebreaker: best two of three wins in direct match (4 fighters – 2 on 2 then winners fight)
3-Person Tie
If after streak tiebreaker there remains 3 tied fighters proceed to 2nd tiebreaker
2nd tiebreaker: 2nd longest streak
If after 2nd tiebreaker there remains 3 tied fighters proceed to 3rd tiebreaker
3rd tiebreaker: roll die - 2 highest rolls fight first (best two of three); winner fights remainder
Tournament Scoring:

1st Place: 5 points | 2nd Place: 3 points | 3rd Place: 1 point | 4th Place: 0.5 point
In the unlikely event of a Total Tournament tie, the tied individuals will fight best 2 out of 3 in single sword, Florentine, and sword and shield.Tournament Crats reserve the right to adjust Pits, brackets, etc. based on the needs/numbers of the competitors. Scoring is based on Rivermoor corpora scoring.
