This latest variant of the yellowjacket is a re-imagination of river dynamics' first truly supermaneuverable aircraft. It features an innovative A-tail empennage and 30* all-flying stabilators to give it unmatched pitch aurthority. the yellowjacket retains its trademark maneuverability and now features improved energy retention and flameout prevention along with an increased thrust-to-weight ratio and all-out better performance in sustained turn and high angles of attack. it also has an improved S.A.S. matrix and alpha limiting system to provide stability in any situation.
The long-dead triggerfish mk.2apex has been resurrected as an advanced strike bomber. The APEX-B features two seats for a pilot and RIO (Radar Intercept Officer) and an impressive TWR along with larger wing area to accomodate more munitions. It still retains its ability to perform post-stall maneuvers if needed, but can also deliver long-range strikes from beyond visual range with unmatched precision. the APEX-B can also be switched to perform other roles fairly easily, including close air support, S.E.A.D. operations, and electronic warfare.
The Riverhawk is a revolutionary new fighter designed to take on Borealis Aerospace's STABMAN-02 (Stable and maneuverable, model 02). formed in collaberation with the venerable Vanguard Aerospace Systems, the Riverhawk will feature advanced energy retention, top speed, maneuverability, and amazing all-out performace. It features the best of both companies: River Dynamics' advanced computer systems and flight controls, and Vanguard's reliable and robust airframe and modular weapons systems. And, we think it looks absolutely awesome.
The Mako Mk.1DX-SV (or 'excessive' as it's sometimes called, on account of its ending designation) is a modified variant of the Mako Mk.1Dx stealth fighter designed to carry as much ordnance as possible. It features a large central bay capable of accomodating three larger BVR missiles, two smaller single weapon bays for special weapons (in this case an AIR-2G nuclear missile and an MTAIM-01 cluster missile), along with a pair of reloading missile bays that carry six short-range missiles each. This gives the mako a total of 17 weapons hardpoints at its disposal for all sorts of missions.
// it does look cool lol
