The Cormorant Mk.1-RFC2 was a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft produced by RD in 2015. It suffered massively from instability and a high stall speed, leading to the type's quick removal from serial production. However, Cormorants flew again last week performing test drops of simulated cargo, demonstrating improved maneuverability, low-speed handling, and rough field capability. These new cormorants are set to enter the market some time in late 2023/ early 2025, finally filling the gap between the smaller Condor mk.1-LMT and much larger Cruiser mk.1-cmr2.

Borealis adopted the philosophy of 'no limits' very literally with the Fast Maneuverable Experimental Airframe - model 01. With a thrust-to-weight ratio of 10.5 and Mod. XXV (?) SAS matrix, the 'Contender', as it's colloquially known, can engage nearly any threat at any range. Contenders have found a prolific niche as area defense interceptors and escort fighters thanks to their incredible high altitude speed and all-out power, provided courtesy of its two massive Conglomerate Engine Tech CCD-043-25N afterburning turbofans. What it loses in energy retention it more than makes up for with supermaneuverability and raw engine thrust, making it a potent and dominant aircraft in any scenario.
