Memorial Day honors the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country. These courageous individuals have given everything they had to defend our freedoms and way of life. Memorial Day reminds us of the high price of freedom and the debt of gratitude we owe to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It is a day to reflect on their sacrifice and to honor their memory with gratitude. We hope each and everyone of you have a safe Memorial Day Weekend.
Reissue from 2024 - Great content
Dear Neighbors,
It is that time of year again when the grass is green and unfortunately so are the weeds. Thankfully, there are products that make it very easy to keep the weeds out of our lawns and to keep the grass looking its best. You can get many different products at Home Depot or Lowe's or the store of your choice. This time of year, what we need to be looking for is a fertilizer with a weed killer in it as well. Here's just one example of what you can find. Weed and Feed is available at Home Depot. Along with eliminating the weeds you may also be concerned about Fire Ants. There are many safe products that you can use to keep ants away from the kids and fleas off the dogs. Fire Ant Killer is available at Home Depot.
With just a few basic items our lawns can stay healthy and happy. I hope this has been helpful and you have a great Memorial Day weekend!

During our last storm, we had considerable tree damage on the trails in the nature area. We had several trees that came down, blocking the trails. The trees have now been removed from the trails. Some excellent firewood remains beside the trails for anyone in need or wishing to add more firewood to their supply. Please note that most are very large pieces, and you may need help moving them.
Additionally, we will be working on the main entrance trail as it has suffered from the large amounts of rain we have experienced over the past months. Always use caution when walking, riding bikes, or using golf carts in the nature area. It is a great space and we hope all will continue to enjoy and help us maintain and keep our nature area clean.
We continue to need people willing to help plan and coordinate social events and activities for our neighborhood. If you have an interest, please contact;
