Riverbend at Bear Creek is a warm, welcoming and friendly home for more than 70 families in Jackson County, Georgia. 

The name aptly describes the community.   Riverbend is located on a bend of the Middle Oconee River.  Founded in 2004, it sits on the North side of Bear Creek Reservoir on Georgia Highway 330.  It offers a rural setting less than a 10 minute drive from the urban setting of Athens, Georgia.

Riverbend is a mixed community of households ranging from new families with small children to retirees.   Bounded on three sides by the Middle Oconee River, the area is rich in walking trails and biodiversity.
