What is the Stripling Model of Inquiry?
The Stripling Model of Inquiry is a process that you can use to deepen your understanding of a topic you research. It is broken down into the following steps or strategies:
CONNECT - Think about prior knowledge, background information, or context that you may have on the topic.
WONDER - Ask yourself questions about the topic or make predictions.
INVESTIGATE - Find and evaluate information that helps you answer your questions and makes you think of new ones.
CONSTRUCT - Draw conclusions and make sense of your new understandings
EXPRESS - Share your learning with others or apply it to new situations.
REFLECT - Reflect on what you have learned and ask new questions!
