Hi! I am Ritwiz Kamal, a PhD student (Prime Minister's Research Fellow) at the department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Madras working under the supervision of Dr. Manikandan Narayanan. I am associated with the Bioinformatics and Integrative Data Science (BIRDS) research group. My research interest primarily is in the area of Causality, Causal Inference (under the broad scope of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence) and the interface of the same with Bioinformatics, specifically Complex Disorders' Genetics and Disease Risk. I also have an interest in Evolutionary, Nature inspired computing and Metaheuristic optimization.
