I am interested in studying asymptotic properties of stochastic processes and dynamical systems on negatively curved backgrounds.
I also enjoy thinking about counting problems in geometry and questions related to the parameter dependence of natural measures (such as hitting measures and Patterson-Sullivan measures) on the boundaries of negatively curved spaces.
Some of my ongoing projects involve studying Gibbs measures for the Ising model at low temperatures on hyperbolic groups, and counting conjugacy classes of a given genus in hyperbolic groups.
