Dr.Rituraj Soni is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering in Engineering College Bikaner since 2006. His area of Interest includes Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Analysis of Algorithms. He is currently a Senior Member of the reputed technical society IEEE. He is also serving as Associate Dean IIR , Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner, member of DRC & BOS Committee of BTU Bikaner. He is also an active member of the Technical society like CSI, ISTE & Vibha Organization. In collaboration with CGC Mohali, his team stands among the top 10 teams in the worldwide Hackathon organised by IEEE Bangalore, Pune, and Hyderabad section. Based on his contribution to IEEE activities, he was featured in the IEEE spectrum in July 2020. He is also serving as the guest editor of SCI and Scopus journals. He is an active researcher and serves as a reviewer for various SCI journals & Scopus indexed conferences. He has delivered expert talk in various international/national conferences and FDP. He is an active member of the Board of Studies and Research Committee in the Bikaner Technical University. He has also served as the Nodal Coordinator of Virtual Labs at Engineering Colleg Bikaner in collaboration with IIT Delhi. He has organized various short-term courses under the TEQIP project in collaboration with NIT Kurukshetra. Before that, he was also the Infosys Campus Connect program coordinator and an active member of the Training placement cell of ECB. His team of students won the Dronacharay award for Rajasthan in the TGMC project held in the year 2009.
