About Me

I am a scientific researcher at the Bioimage Analysis unit at Institut Pasteur since November, 2018. Here, I am working on image analysis applications in biology with Dr. Jean-Christophe Olivo-Marin. My research interests are in the area of image analysis, computer vision and machine learning with main focus on biological image analysis and bioimage informatics.

I received my PhD in 2017 from University of Virginia, under Dr. Scott T. Acton where I developed sparse representation and dictionary learning methods for various image analysis applications. From 2017-2018, I was Chief Engineer at Samsung R&D Instittute, Bangalore and worked on computer vision techniques for mobile phone camera.

I completed my M.S from Iowa State University under Dr. Namrata Vaswani in 2012. I received my Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2008.
