Outreach

I have a keen interest in working with high school students and encouraging them toward STEM. Early intervention encourages high school students, especially those who would otherwise not be interested in STEM education. During graduate school, I volunteered to show fun science experiments to high school students in the annual ‘Introduce a Girl to Engineering’ and 'Explore UT' days. As a postdoc, I co-organized a 2-week “Introduction to Computational Protein Design” workshop named BioComp for Baltimore public high school students.
