The cast includes the main characters Rowan Atkinson as Walter Goodfellow, his wife Gloria played by Kristin Scott Thomas and the housekeeper Grace Hawkins as Maggie Smith who lives with the family in the small village of vicar.
A young pregnant woman enters a train with her enormous trunks, during the train journey, starts leaking blood. The police arrested her for killing his husband and his mistress.
Vicar, Little Wallop. 43 years later, the unworldly priest Walter Goodfellow does not notice that his wife is having an affair with a golf instructor and that his daughter is sex-crazed. Gloria and her golf instructor Lance are even planning a trip to Mexico together. However, all problems vanish into thin air when Goodfellow hires the housekeeper Grace. No one suspects that the patented lady has a murderous secret. She is the murderer Rosie, released from prison, who was convicted of murder on the train 43 years ago. She kills people who make the family's life harder and cause them problems, the golf teacher, the neighbour's dog and a few others. She tries to do the best for the family, but Gloria suspects something is wrong. One evening Gloria and daughter Holly see a news report that the murderer Rosie is on the loose, they realize Rosie is Grace and go to look in her big suitcase, but she catches them. It turns out that Rosie (Grace) is Gloria's mother and she tells them about the murders, the bodies of which she hid in the Goodfellow family pond.
The Plot focuses on making the film a comedy despite the seriousness and brutality of the film, not making it scary, but the funny scenes mask the fact that it is a film about murder and bloodshed. The jokes are very appropriate, they are made for young and old, as well as the whole film, so if you are looking for a film to laugh at soon, watch it!
