Theoretical particle physicist

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, my family moved often and I ended up splitting my time between coasts as a kid.  

Educationally though, all of my degrees are from the west coast.  B.Sc. with honors from University of California Santa Barbara - I love this school.  M.Sc. from University of California Davis and Ph.D. from University of California Irvine.

One of my best friends from UCSB, Kapil B., asked me a few years ago "Are you just going to hit all the UCs??" and I laughed because I thought it was ridiculous.  Then I accepted a postdoctoral fellowship at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, which means the University of California Berkeley signed my paychecks. I'm still missing a few though.
