Ritmeaux Krewe 10 Year Anniversary!

Ritmeaux Krewe celebrates 10 years of highlighting Hispanic/Latinx/Afro/Indigenous culture and community through music and dance. Ritmeaux Krewe is Louisiana’s first ever latin dance marching group. Over the past decade, we have paraded across the state, performing in Kenner, Metairie, New Orleans, & Mandeville. #RKrewe is led by Director, Bianca San Martin and Principal Dancer/Team Captain, Julie Banks Mims. The group focuses on music such as Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, and Merengue; and highlights all forms of Afro-Latin music, rhythms, and genres. Our krewemates are from all around the world and diaspora.  We open our membership to all persons ages 18+. We have 40+ current active members and have had the pleasure of calling over 100 people a part of the Krewe.

The grand event will be at the Broadside and you’re invited to the party! The celebration will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, 6-10p and will feature special performances, live DJ, dance party, and a brief Awards Ceremony honoring and remembering Krewemates throughout the years.
