Riti Gour

Hi, I am Riti.

I am an Assistant Professor at Central Connecticut State University. I graduated with a Ph.D. from the Advanced Networks Research Lab,  at the University of Texas at Dallas.

My current research is on studying the protection and recovery mechanisms in next-generation telecommunications networks in order to make them more reliable and robust for us as users. Precisely, my work so far can be divided into three sections:

• Improving the survivability of the networks against geographical failures.

• Building mechanisms to guarantee the high availability demands in the network.

• Developing methods to localize network component failures such that a timely recovery is possible.
