The Soriana project is a culturally driven card game designed to preserve and promote Syrian heritage through interactive play. Developed for players aged 13–25, it blends entertainment with education by featuring cards illustrated with landmarks, traditions, historical figures, and elements of Syrian daily life. Rooted in extensive research and informed by interviews and surveys, the game responds to cultural erosion resulting from displacement and globalization, offering a playful yet meaningful solution to reconnect younger generations with their roots. Visually, the game adopts a modern–traditional design style, using a refined color palette inspired by Syrian landscape tones, with contemporary typography harmoniously paired with Arabic aesthetics. Its core strategy emphasizes emotional connection, cultural pride, and accessibility, presenting heritage in a way that encourages discussion, learning, and cultural continuity within families and communities. By transforming cultural knowledge into a fun, shareable experience, Soriana moves beyond stereotypical representations and positions itself as both a learning tool and a celebration of Syrian identity.
