Our Mission
The Anne Arundel County Youth Action Board exists to end youth homelessness and uplift youth
voices by:
• Providing essential resources—food, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies, and
employment tools—without barriers.
• Creating safe spaces like Youth Houses and mobile support (Youth Bus) for connection,
refuge, and empowerment.
• Breaking the silence around mental health through peer-led support and advocacy.
• Equipping youth to influence policy and systems through legislative engagement and
leadership development.
• Partnering with local organizations, coalitions, and agencies to ensure access to housing,
training, and long-term self-sufficiency.
• Centering lived experience to drive real solutions and build a future where every youth has
dignity, safety, and opportunity.
