About the area

Rising Sun Guesthouse is a traditional house located at the small village of Mesochoria in South Evia where the time has stopped and the visitor can experience the authentic feeling of  a greek village. 

The property is 3km from the Aegean sea and close to many exquisite places of natural beauty.

 At just a short drive you will reach three stunning beaches surrounded by Mediterranean lush green landscape and some good tavernas, too. These are the well known beaches of Limiona and Almyrichi famous for the crystal blue colour of the water and their white sand.

There are a lot of interesting destinations to visit around the area and we can suggest you activities and places to visit  according to your likes.

About our homestay

This double room is located at the upper floor of the house and it owns a big balcony where you can relax while enjoying the views and the tranquility of the landscape. It is a spacious wooden room traditionally decorated, with panoramic views to the sea, the prairies and the village. If you are an early bird person, you can wake up watching the sun rising from the Aegean sea.

Inside the room there are 2 single beds which can be made into one double, a small fridge, a boiler for tea and coffee, an electric toaster,  a wardrobe, three big windows with mosquito nets, one smart TV and a private bathroom with shower,  hot water and toiletries. There is no Air condition but there is a fan and the freshness of the wind breeze.

We provide FREE breakfast with tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam and seasonal fruits at your room as there are no markets to do shopping in the village. 

We live together with three adorable dogs and two cats, at the down floor.  If you are a pet friendly person and you want to bring your pet, you are very welcome!

This property is suitable for 1 or 2 persons and children are accepted if older than 10 years.

Welcome to Rising Sun Guesthouse ! This is my grandparent’s family house where I grew up as a child. 

My name is Fey, I have studied Biotechnology, MsC Dietology, Thai massage and Yoga and I am a passionate plant based cook. More than anything I love travelling and for me hosting people is another way to get to know the world, by meeting fellow travellers and introduce them to my place! I will be happy to meet you!
