# Privacy Policy — Rishta Tracker

## Overview
Rishta Tracker is a private tool to help you track and evaluate marriage matches you are already considering. It is not a public matrimonial or dating platform. We do not operate a matchmaking service or share your data with other users.
## Data you enter
You may store match profiles, notes, interactions, photos, preferences, family feedback, and decisions. By default this data stays **on your device**. We do not receive or store this content on our servers.
## iCloud sync (optional, Pro)
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is mirrored to **your personal iCloud account** via Apple CloudKit (private database). Only you can access it through your Apple ID. We cannot read your iCloud data.
## Photos and camera
Photos and camera access are used for profile pictures and on-device biodata OCR. OCR runs on your device; images are **not uploaded** to us for text recognition.
## Face ID / app lock
Optional Face ID or device passcode lock keeps the app private. Biometric data is handled by Apple and never leaves your device.
## Purchases
Pro upgrades are processed by Apple. We do not receive payment card details.
## Advertising (free users)
Free users may see banner ads on the **Home screen only**. Match and detail screens are ad-free.
We use **Google AdMob** to serve and measure ads. AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID if you allow App Tracking on iOS)
- IP address (approximate location)
- Ad interaction data
This is used for ad delivery, frequency capping, and ad performance measurement. If you deny App Tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, ads may be less personalized.

## Optional AI features (bring your own key)
If you choose to add your own AI API key, requests are sent directly to that provider under **your** account. We do not store your key on our servers (it is saved locally on your device).
## Data sharing
We do **not** sell your personal information.
We share data with third parties only as follows:

We do **not** share your match profiles, notes, or photos with advertisers or other third parties.
## Children
Rishta Tracker is intended for adults (18+) evaluating arranged-marriage prospects. It is not directed at children under 13.
## Your choices
- Delete app data by deleting the app (or individual matches in-app)
- Turn off iCloud sync in Settings
- Deny tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Rishta Tracker
- Upgrade to Pro to remove ads
## International users (GDPR / UK)
For users in the EEA/UK, ad personalization may require consent where applicable. You can manage ad preferences through your device settings and any in-app consent prompts we provide.
## Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
