I am a mother, teacher, and enthusiastic advocate for science education. Originally from Fayetteville, NC, I graduated from Westover Senior High School in 1996. I continued my academic journey at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Ohio, earning my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in General Sciences in 2004. After returning to North Carolina, I embarked my teaching license from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and later completed my Master in Biology in Secondary Education at Fayetteville State University in May 2017.
In January 2024, I achieved my Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Secondary Education, further enriching my expertise in teaching and learning.
With 18 years of classroom experience spanning middle school, high school, and college levels, I am dedicated to fostering engaging and impactful educational experiences.
