My name is Laurie Ripperger and I am so excited to be part of the Carpenter  family as your child's 3rd grade teacher.  My husband Brian and I have been married for 28 years and we have two boys, Justin (25) and Tyler (22). I taught 4th and 5th grade for 6 years in New Jersey before leaving to raise my children.  My husband was then offered a job in California, where we  lived for 16 years.  While in CA,  I  worked as an Instructional Assistant  in K-5.  I am very excited to be in NC  and to be working in a profession that I truly love!
