My name is Ripley Moyers. I currently work as a Youth Services Specialist for the Rose Creek Public Library in Woodstock, GA. As a Youth Services Specialist, I design storytimes and programming, conduct outreach to local schools, and assist our young patrons with reference help and reader's advisory. Before accepting my current position, I worked as an assistant for the Woodstock Public Library for 4 years.
I hold a bachelor's degree in English from Kennesaw State University and, as of December 2020, a master's degree in library and information science (MLIS) from Valdosta State University.
This portfolio includes a sample of the coursework that I have completed during my time as an MLIS student at Valdosta State. My skills are highlighted in my Resume. You can view the classes I took at Valdosta State in Coursework. Four sample projects are located under Reflective Essays. Finally, you can view the webinar I wrote and narrated about early literacy concepts under Additional Materials.
