Ivan Shlykov(“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Ripd: Gym Workout Tracker mobile application (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The App allows you to record information such as:
Exercises
Workout routines
Sets and repetitions
Weight lifted
Workout duration
Workout history
Personal records
Body measurements
Notes and fitness goals
This information is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate a backend server, user-account system, or cloud database, and we do not receive, access, or store your workout and fitness data.
The App may allow its locally stored information to be included in your personal iCloud backups or synchronized using Apple’s iCloud services.
Your use of iCloud is optional and is controlled through your Apple device and Apple Account settings.
Information stored in iCloud is processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy and terms. We do not have access to your Apple Account, iCloud storage, or private iCloud backup data.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to understand how the App is used and to improve its functionality, reliability, and user experience.
Google Analytics for Firebase may automatically collect information including:
App interactions and events
Screens or features used
Session information
App version
Device model
Operating-system version
Device language and general region
Approximate geographic location
App-instance identifier
Installation and update information
Purchase-related analytics events, where enabled
The app-instance identifier is a randomly generated identifier associated with a particular installation of the App. We do not use it to identify you by name.
We do not intentionally send your name, email address, workout details, exercise history, body measurements, notes, or other personally identifiable information to Google Analytics.
Analytics information is used for purposes such as:
Measuring the number of users and sessions
Understanding which App features are used
Identifying usability issues
Measuring App performance
Improving existing features
Planning future features
Understanding subscription and purchase activity
Google processes this information according to its applicable privacy policies and service terms.
The App does not display third-party advertising.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use workout or fitness data for advertising.
The App does not use the Apple advertising identifier, known as IDFA, and does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.
The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime premium purchase.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card information.
Apple may provide the App with limited purchase information necessary to:
Confirm whether a purchase was completed
Determine whether a subscription is active
Restore previous purchases
Unlock premium features
Respond to refunds or purchase revocations
Purchase processing is governed by Apple’s applicable privacy policy and terms.
We do not operate user accounts or a backend database.
We do not directly collect or store:
Your name
Your email address
Your phone number
Your postal address
Your contacts
Your precise location
Your photographs or videos
Your payment-card details
Your workout history
Your exercise routines
Your body measurements
Your private notes
This does not include limited technical and usage information processed through Google Analytics for Firebase as described above.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Limited analytics information may be processed by Google because the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase.
Information may also be processed by Apple when you:
Download or update the App
Make an App Store purchase
Manage a subscription
Use iCloud backup or synchronization
Use other Apple platform services
We may disclose information when required to comply with applicable law, a valid legal process, or a governmental request. Because we do not operate user accounts or store workout data on our servers, we generally do not possess such information.
Workout and fitness data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud storage until you delete it, remove the App, clear its data, or manage the applicable iCloud data through your Apple Account.
We do not control Apple’s retention of iCloud backups or App Store transaction information.
Google retains Analytics information according to the retention settings configured for our Google Analytics property and Google’s applicable policies.
Our current Google Analytics retention setting is: 2 months.
You may limit or stop certain information processing by:
Disabling iCloud for the App in your Apple device settings
Deleting workout information inside the App
Deleting the App and its local data
Managing or deleting applicable App data stored in iCloud
Managing subscriptions through your Apple Account settings
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.
Because workout information is stored locally or in your private iCloud storage, its security depends partly on the security of your device and Apple Account.
We recommend that you:
Protect your device with a passcode
Enable two-factor authentication for your Apple Account
Keep your operating system updated
Avoid sharing access to an unlocked device
No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.
The App is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Google Analytics may process limited technical and usage information as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been processed improperly, contact us using the information below.
Google and Apple may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies, contractual safeguards, and applicable data-protection laws.
The App is intended for general workout tracking and informational purposes only.
It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or modifying an exercise program, particularly if you have an injury, medical condition, or health concern.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable law, or our service providers change.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated inside the App or through another appropriate method.
