Step 1: Making A Google Slides

Go to your google drive, you can click this shiny blue text to quickly go to drive

On the left side of your screen, near the top, click the button that says New. A drop-down should appear, in it look for Google Slides, then click it. You should be taken to a new tab where your in editing mode on a new google slides, on the right side of your screen you should be able to select a theme, click the simple dark theme (trust me your eyes will thank you).  Now, exit out of the panel by clicking the X button above the down arrow on the right-top side of the screen.
