Communication and engagement with the entire school community is a critical part of the development of a comprehensive Strategic Plan for 2023-2028.
The district will be holding three public meetings this fall and early winter to engage the whole community in the strategic planning process (see schedule below. We hope you will join us in this important process for our students. Community Meeting #1: October 9, 2024 (7:00 PM) - Ryerson Cafe
Provide a “State of the District” presentation
Introduce the strategic planning process, gather initial input, and explain the survey.
Facilitate discussions to understand stakeholder priorities and concerns.
Stakeholder Survey to be distributed on October 10, 2024
Community Meeting #2: November 13, 2024 (7:00 PM) - Ryerson Cafe
Review synthesis of feedback from community survey responses and priorities identified during meeting #1.
Break into groups to develop draft goal statements
Community Meeting #3: December 4, 2024 (7:00 PM)
Review draft goal statements
Break into groups to develop 3-5 objectives to guide action plans
Stakeholder Meeting #4:
Objective: Present the final draft of the strategic plan.
Gather final feedback and endorsements from stakeholders.
