But yesterday I got Redmi Note 10 and I can't find these alarm sounds anywhere. When I go to the alarm and choose ringtone, I just get into some stupid Mi Store with tons of short sounds. No option to choose the dynamic alarms. But when I go to my alarms on the Note 8 Pro, the nature alarm is selected, but even then when I click on ringtones where it says "nature alarm", I get into the same MIUI 12 store crap and get the same tones as I do on the Note 10. I cant find nature alarm on the Note 8 Pro, even though it is activated right now.

The call of the northern bobwhite once echoed through valleys and fields throughout The Natural State, but so many people today who have grown up within the confines of urban areas have never had the opportunity to hear a quail call first-hand. Now, every Arkansan can keep a quail in their pocket, thanks to a new ringtone developed by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

The ringtone was developed from the call of a true Arkansas northern bobwhite in the wild, not too far from the Ouachita Mountains. The tone and instructions to download it to your iPhone are available at -game/quail/arkansas-bobwhite-quail-resources.

For Android and other smartphones, you can shop directly from our website, from your mobile phone or from a computer or other device to buy and download our bird and animal call tracks. The link will take you to one of our nature sounds albums, and you can purchase the sound track you want from the list. We recommend getting a free app, like Ringtone Creator, which will do the work for you to create the ringtone, alert or alarm, and put it on your phone.

When people make decisions about sequentially presented items in psychophysical experiments, their decisions are always biased by their preceding decisions and the preceding items, either by assimilation (shift towards the decision or item) or contrast (shift away from the decision or item). Such sequential biases also occur in naturalistic and real-world judgments such as facial attractiveness judgments. In this article, we aimed to cast light on the causes of these sequential biases. We first found significant assimilative and contrastive effects in a visual face attractiveness judgment task and an auditory ringtone agreeableness judgment task, indicating that sequential effects are not limited to the visual modality. We then found that the provision of trial-by-trial feedback of the preceding stimulus value eliminated the contrastive effect, but only weakened the assimilative effect. When participants orally reported their judgments rather than indicated them via a keyboard button press, we found a significant diminished assimilative effect, suggesting that motor response repetition strengthened the assimilation bias. Finally, we found that when visual and auditory stimuli were alternated, there was no longer a contrastive effect from the immediately previous trial, but there was an assimilative effect both from the previous trial (cross-modal) and the 2-back trial (same stimulus modality). These findings suggested that the contrastive effect results from perceptual processing, while the assimilative effect results from anchoring of the previous judgment and is strengthened by response repetition and numerical priming.

In what, for the Bush administration, is ashockingly close brush with reality, the agency concluded:"Increasing surface temperatures in high latitudes havecontributed to progressively more summer melt and less icegrowth in the fall and winter...[and] may not be solely relatedto natural variability." Hmm. What might it be related to?

To determine the effect of mobile phone ringtones on visual recognition during driving, laboratory and real-scene eye movement experiments were conducted with simulated and real driving tasks, respectively. Competition for visual attention during driving increases with the integration of sounds, which is related to driving safety.

We manipulated the physical (long exposure duration vs. short exposure duration) and psychological (self-related vs. non-self-related) properties of mobile phone ringtones presented to drivers. Estimates were based on linear mixed models (LMMs) and generalized linear mixed models (GLMMs).

Self-related ringtones had a greater influence on driving attention than non-self-related ones, and the interaction between exposure duration and self-relatedness was significant. Furthermore, the impact of the mobile phone ringtone occurred in real time after the ringtone stopped.

These results highlight the importance of considering the impact of ringtones on driving performance and demonstrate that ringtone properties (exposure duration and self-relatedness) can affect cognitive processes.

Between one and four years later, eight of those bats were recaptured and exposed again to the food-related ringtone. All of them flew toward the sound, and six flew all the way to the speaker and grabbed the food reward, meaning they expected to find food. Control bats without previous training on the sounds were comparatively unmoved by the exposure to the unfamiliar tones.

Over time, the sound was mingled with and gradually replaced by a ringtone, but the reward was the same. Researchers then introduced three other ringtones, none of which was connected to a food reward. Bats were trained to discern the differences and eventually no longer flew toward the unrewarded sounds. Each bat secured at least 40 snacks by flying to the trained ringtone over 11 to 27 days. All bats were microchipped and returned to the wild.

Beginning a year later and for three additional years, Dixon captured bats and identified eight from the initial trial by their microchips. In a follow-up test of their response to the original rewarded ringtone, all eight trained bats quickly flew to the sound and were able to tell the difference between that ringtone and a new, steady tone, though many of the bats did fly to an unrewarded sound from the initial training.

I went phone shopping this weekend and it seems that mobile phones are overdesigned for the same reasons that after market car stereos are. These products are natural complements and/or substitutes for iPods, I bet Apple would clean up if they made a play.

The beauty of the Series 60 phones (or at least my 3650) is that you can use any sound file (WAV, MP3, or MIDI) as a ringtone. You can have plenty of fun with the MIDIs. I was hoping for a ringtone randomizer where I could load a bunch of MIDIs and it would shuffle through them with each phone call.

2. I had a better understanding of the natural history of the Puget Sound Region such as the formation of moraines and the drumlins, how the ocean and mountains regulated weather and temperature, and what plant species were most suitable in which region. I always wondered why Seattle was so full of undulating hills, now I know it was shaped by the glacial movement. Other than my observation site, our other lecture site, Ravenna Park had also become one of my favorite parks to visit.

4. My most important personal outcome from this class was that I developed this hobby of going out in natural parks, observing animals with binoculars, and taking pictures or videos of them. I could spend a long time just standing and observing what the animals were doing, which was so relaxing to do. I think I will continue to do this as a way to learn more about the area and just have fun. I also got better use of binoculars, field guides, and the iNaturalist Seek app, which will continue to help me identify species after this course ends.

In my very first quarter at UW, I took the course BIOL180 and had a chance to attend a field trip in the wild. The TAs led us to observe natural habitats and look for trails where raccoons, beavers, and coyotes passed through and the excreta they left behind. From that, we could predict how long ago they were there, what they might have ingested, and their general health. It was such a meaningful field trip that I still remember today. 17dc91bb1f
