This page is a section of an undergraduate research project from Cornell University. I have placed it up onto the web since information accessible to the general public on ring-necked pheasant subspecies is exceptionally scarce. Many of these subspecies are in decline and require awareness and conservation attention, I feel that it is in their best interest to provide basic information about them to those who cannot afford to use paywalled databases, or cannot access the far and few books that discuss them in any sort of detail.
