This policy describes how RingCue handles information on your device. RingCue is designed to work offline and does not require an account.
Summary
We do not sell personal data.
This first version includes no ads and no analytics SDKs.
Caller photos, voice recordings, and contact details you choose stay on your device.
Data stored on your device
RingCue may store locally:
Fake call history (name, number, schedule, image path, audio path)
Voice recordings you create or import
Photos you pick for a caller
Preferences (theme, vibration, proximity, review prompts)
This data is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes it, subject to your device’s backup settings.
Permissions
RingCue may request permissions only when a feature needs them. You can deny them and still use other features.
Microphone — optional, to record a voice message
Contacts — optional, to pick a caller name, number, and photo
Notifications — optional, to show a scheduled incoming cue
Display over other apps — optional, to show a scheduled call on the lock screen
Exact alarms — optional, to ring at the time you scheduled
Internet
RingCue may open the Google Play Store (rate or share) or this privacy policy in a browser. No call content is uploaded for ads or analytics in this version.
Children
RingCue is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the age required by your local laws for this type of entertainment app.
Disclaimer
RingCue is for entertainment only. It does not place real phone calls, send SMS, or connect to a phone network. Every cue is simulated on your device.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app changes. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
