The council released the second Volume of RimuNews, a digital newspaper made by the council to update the citizens of the Super Secret Simping Group on the latest news, anywhere in the server.
RimuNews' digital newspaper is the best way to recap the latest happenings in the server.

STATE OF WAR BETWEEN THE SUPER SECRET SIMPING GROUP AND THE SOVIET YUNYUN
SUPER SECRET SIMPING GROUP- On the 28th of April at 10:11 AM, the top diplomat of the YunYunism Federation announces that a state of war has existed between the Republic of The Super Secret Simping Group and the YunYunism Federation.
This is following tensions resulting from week long standoffs between forces of the Super Secret Simping Group and diplomats in the YunYunism embassy after a YunYunism backed terrorist attack on #general spreading anti-Rimuru propaganda.
These events led to small scale skirmishes through out the Super Secret Simping Group between local police and mobilized armed forces against YunYunism backed rebels.
Following the declaration of war, national guard forces were activated and small scale offensives into strategic parts of the Yunyunism Federation were made by the SSSG government.
After an emergency council meeting, most council members expressed their support for the Armed Forces; even former General Reposti, who knows what his name will be tomorrow AniDoods, an avid supporter of the YunYunists declared their neutrality in the war.
The council leader Cherry is yet to make a statement however the Department of Defense ensures the public's safety with air defense zones in place to protect the citizens from the skies and forces on the ground on the defensive, ready to meet YunYunists on the frontlines.
Meanwhile, the council is urging all able simps and grills to enlist in the armed forces to combat the heretics serving the Soviet YunYun.
In other related news, subsequent to the declartion of war, the embassy of the YunYunism Federation has been razed by local militias said to have been backed by AniDoods himself, calling in question his neutrality in the situation.
As the war goes on; local governments urge the public to stay indoors to keep safe from stray heresy.
YunYunism appears to be unpopular within the SSSG with citizens saying "Are you a heretic too? Get out of my face you filthy yunyunist!" and local armed rebels stating "When we said we wanted anyone but Lord Rimuru as god, we actually meant anyone but Lord Rimuru and this Yunyun person."
Whilst RimuNews was not granted full access, our correspondents have observed heightened activity in war room a few days prior to the surprise declartion of war.

SUPER SECRET SIMPING GROUP- The prophet RimUwU has has announced this Wednesday, February 10, their resignation as owner of the server and leader of the council of the Super Secret Simping Group. As a result, an election is currently in progress and the council is urging the public to vote for the candidate the see fit.

The commission on election has also released the official list of candidates, however they state that the list is tentative as the applications for candidacy will be acknowledged until Friday, December 12 0:00 GMT.

The commission on election also stated their commitments against election fraud and updates the public thru official statements about the latest events related to the election every twelve hours at 12 AM and 12 PM GMT.
The candidates of the election are in fierce competition. Campaigns can be seen left and right. As of late, Defiantly not a rebel, Artoria simp, Chewwy, Third Secretary, and Ewite have started their campaigns while NOwOva and The Mechanist are yet to launch any promotional ads or campaigns, however The Mechanist stated that their campaign will start tomorrow.

As of the latest count at February 11 12:00 PM GMT, Chewwy is leading the with 4 votes, Defiantly not a rebel at a close second with 2, Artoria simp and The Mechanist tied at one, and Third Secretary, Ewite, and NOwOva all at zero votes.
Meanwhile, people are protesting and are voting for the prophet RimUwU. The commission on election re-affirms that the votes toward people that are not in the official list will not be considered valid. As of the latest count, the prophet RimUwU leads with 29 in the survey poll which the council used to gauge the votes for the candidates but is not the election poll. In the survey poll, Chewwy and Artoria simp tie with two votes and the rest of the candidates received one vote.

The prophet and the Commission on Election continue to affirm that the election poll is the valid poll and will be the used to elect the next owner. The prophet RimUwU rolled out an informational campaign telling people to not vote for the prophet RimUwU, to inform them that votes for the prophet will not be valid.

SUPER SECRET SIMPING GROUP- AFTER recent tensions, negotiations have begun. Unfortunately, all of that was laid to waste after Pihu was declared "persona non grata" by the majority of the council after breaking terms with the Super Secret Simping Group and the recent attacks led forth by their server.
> Pihu and their allies attacked us and have broken rules. We didn't do it because of the tensions, we merely enforced rules and to avoid future terroristic attacks have decided to ban him and an accomplice. They got kicked but returned with even more spam, so we had no choice.

Following this news, however, Pihu issued a ceasefire to his men to stop current and future attacks on the Super Secret Simping Group.
