Dr. Millicent King Channell, DO, MA, FAAO, FNAOME is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing her residencies in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM) she joined the faculty of RowanSOM in the Departments of OMM and Family Medicine. Dr. Channell currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Professor of OMM at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She has served in numerous academic roles and has made a number of scholarly contributions to Osteopathic Medicine with one being a co-authorship of the book titled
5-Minute Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Consult. Dr. Channell currently serves as a member of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AOA) Board of Trustees and has previously served on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Osteopathic Principles Committee. Lastly, she also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME).
