It is not necessary to remove things like the floor mats from the vehicle because they are part of the normal detailing process.

As detailers we use methods such as pre-washing to remove the debris from the paint before we do the contact wash. As well as using specified chemicals where they are needed, for example if your vehicles paint is contaminated with dead bugs and road grime we'll use a high alkaline cleaner to remove it.
