Submission Guidelines for Issues

Our issues have no themes. We may plan to launch themed mini issues, occasionally, on which, you will be notified. Poetry on any topic and subject matter can be submitted except for anything that is derogatory or detrimental to a person or a group (you know what we mean). Submissions should be in English. We don't accept translations. Please send us your original work only. 

Presently, we are accepting submissions for our second issue, from November 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024. We are hoping to launch it in the second week of January, 2024. Submissions are free.

Send a maximum of 'five' poems in a word document.

Mail all submissions to rillandgrove@gmail.com . Include a brief third person bio on the email's body and title the Subject Line as: 'Submission - Issue #", for ex: if you are submitting to issue 2, the subject should be: Submission - Issue 2. 

We accept simultaneous submissions and previously published work. Just make sure there's no infringement of rights with your prior publisher(s) concerning a piece or pieces. If they don't have any problem, we don't have either in publishing your work.

If you think your work needs a trigger/content warning, please mark it so.

Currently, we provide feedback on any one of your submitted poems if requested.  On the body of your email, use this format 'feedback - name of the poem'. With time, we'll try to do it for every poem.

If you are submitting an Ekphrastic Poem, please mention on the email's body, the artist's name and their IG handle (if available) so that we can credit them. Also, make sure you have the artist's permission to use his artwork.

We do not hold any rights.

Each issue will be available as a free pdf file on our website.

We aim to respond to each submission within a week from its time of receipt.
