Beside the river, sitting close to one another
In paradise, me and my dearest ones
Are grinning with joy for this enduring union
After praying for it not once but tonnes.
Knowing that hard times have finally flown past,
The scars from the wounds on the heart have faded.
Severance isn’t eating our flesh to the bone.
The strikes of pain inside of us have ended.
I imagine such things for a while and hope
That I’ll see that day with wide-open eyes,
All of my imaginations turning into reality
Forevermore, getting the worth of my cries.
