Re-storying The Land is an audio meditation contemplating the myth of separation between humans and nature. It explores the role of storytelling in developing deeper relationships with the land and examines common stories that underlie our conceptions of “nature”. This episode features Aaron Gregory, professor of Native American Studies at Cal Poly Humboldt, and a scholar of Critical Indigenous Studies and Science and Technology Studies. Together with the hosts, Riley and Chrys, they discuss the importance of centering the land itself and the role of listening in ethical storytelling. This episode also features stories from the community which highlight their memories of being in/with the land.
