KENNY POWERS DOJO- Exhibit 9

Background

I just found a picture on pexels.com that caught my eye. They looked like they were either dancing or doing karate moves, so I though about doing something like a background image for a dojo or dance studio. I ended up deciding to go with the dojo route since they looked more like fighters.

Process

• I started by isolating the parts of the image of the fighters/dancers that I wanted.

• I adjusted a few things using a mask and erasing parts, then created a black color overlay.

• I stretched the image to fill in the background left to right, leaving room at the top.

• I added large red font in the background, repeating over and over to create a more modern artistic look. The name is from a TV show.
