Welcome to my writing portfolio. Over my undergraduate career I have written everything from memoirs to Political Science research papers. Here I have complied some of my favorite pieces, enjoy!

About me:

I am a senior at the University of Denver, where I will be graduating in March with a major in Political Science and minors in both Writing Practices and Spanish. My writing career started off purely academic. Writing was merely a tool to earn good grades in Political Science classes, and ultimately help me on my path to law school. When I declared a writing minor as a sophomore, I was forced to try the other side of writing - creative. I found that non-academic writing could actually be enjoyable. Throughout my junior and senior years I explored new types of writing, gained a passion for the outdoors, and began to explore other career paths. This March, I will be moving to Mount Shasta, California, hundreds of miles from the nearest law school. Instead, I will be pursuing a career as a fishing guide, and that creative side of writing I once deeply feared.
