Giulio Rigoni, PhD
About me...
I received my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Padua in 2017. After a brief IT working experience, I decided to start anew with a grant focused on cyber-security; meantime I joined the SPRITZ Security and Privacy Research Group led by Prof. Mauro Conti at the Math. Department of the University of Padua. Soon after, I enrolled in the PhD course in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics at the University of Florence working mainly on drone security & applications; I earned the title in June 2022. In August 2022 I started a PostDoc position in the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI) at the University of Padua on the Triskelion project. It involves the study of social media interactions between users and news outlets, through machine learning systems.
Currently, I'm an Assistant Professor at Sapienza, University of Rome in the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering, working on cyber-security-related topics.
