Know what you're doing? Simply copy the Content folder into RailWorks.
Don't know what that means? Follow these steps:
A scenario folder will appear in in your downloads folder. You will need to open it. You may need special software such as 7Zip or WinZip to do this.
In the scenario folder, there will be another folder called 'Content'. Right-click this folder and press copy.
Locate your RailWorks folder. This can usually be found by going to 'My PC' then the 'C:' drive and clicking through the following folders: Program files (x86) - Steam - Steamapps - Common - RailWorks. Yours may differ however, these are the default settings.
Once you have the RailWorks folder open, right-click any empty space in the folder and press 'paste'. If you are asked if you want to override any files, press 'yes to all'.
The scenario should now appear in game under the 'Standard' tab.
No, but your experience will be demished if you do not have all of the required stock.
The route which the scenario utilises is essential, along with the stock that makes up the player train. Other stock required is used to make up AI trains that you will pass along the route. The scenario will run without these (see below as to how) but you will not get the same experience so it is recommend that you do have all the requirements before downloading a scenario.
This is because you do not have all of the required stock for the scenario to work properly. If it is only stock used for the AI that is missing, you can still run the scenario by pressing F2, then either 'save' or 'cancel' and the scenario will run, albeit without some/all of the AI stock, which will diminish your gameplay experience.
Um, soonish. It's hard to put a timescale on. Building a route from scratch takes months of effort and I'm just one man. Currently, I hope to have it out towards the end of May 2021.
