Depending on your client's needs, you will publish your project in a couple of ways. If you have a quiz in your project, you should publish as HTML5. If you don't you can publish as a video (MP4). It's always a good idea to talk to your client about their preferences for file type.
Now that your eLearning is complete, it's time to publish.
This video tutorial will show you how to publish your Adobe Captivate eLearning to HTML5 and MP4.
Note: If the video is blurry, please make sure you are viewing it in the highest quality possible in the video player settings.
Module 6 Task = 0.5-1 hr
Congratulations on all of your hard work! Throughout this course, you have:
Selected a topic and written/found a script for your project,
Created PowerPoint slides for your topic and imported them into Adobe Captivate,
Recorded a software simulation demonstration for your topic in NetSuite or OpenAir,
Added audio narration to your slides and software simulation, either by directly recording into Adobe Captivate or importing from Audacity, and
Made your project interactive by adding knowledge check questions.
Now, you will be assessed on all of your hard work. Remember the rubric provided at the beginning of the course, provided below:
These are the criteria by which you will be graded. To receive credit for the course, complete the following tasks:
Publish your course in both HTML5 and video (mp4) format.
Download the Adobe Captivate License rubric document, to below. Fill out your Name, Email, and Topic.
Go to the Oradocs folder, linked below. Create a new folder within it labelled LastNameMMDDYY. For example, name your folder Rieder050120.
Add Aubrey Rieder as a contributor to the Oradocs folder.
Upload the HTML5 folder, the video, and your filled out document to the Oradocs folder you just created.
Email Aubrey Rieder with "Adobe Captivate License" in the email subject. Tell her that your project is ready to go!
Please give Aubrey 3-5 business days to review your project. Once she is done, she will reply to your email with feedback, including a completed rubric.
