Red Flag Warning
Red Flag warning is a term used by fire-weather forecasters to call attention to weather circumstances that may result in extreme burning conditions. The warning is issued when the following weather parameters are forecast:
a sustained wind of 15 mph or greater
a relative humidity less than or equal to 25%
A temperature of greater than 75 Degrees F
When a Red Flag Warning is issued a member of the CWPP committee displays the Red Flag at the entrance to the Ridgewood subdivision.
