The Patrol Division of the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office is the backbone of our department. They are tasked with normal day to day operations like law enforcement within all our cities. Fun fact, you can spot our sub-station in the City of Sterling!

The Corrections and Court Services Division is tasked with day to day operations involving bailiff duties. Not only that but they are also tasked with maintaining the safety and security of our inmates. For now, the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office is in charge with inmates. Fun fact, the Corrections and Court Services Division has a special prisoner transport van as you can see in that picture!

The Criminal Investigations Division is apart of the Investigative Branch in the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office. They are tasked with investigated crimes and organized crime within the Ridgeway Area. They also work very closely with the District Attorney's Office to prosecute those who violate our laws! Fun fact, CID is allowed to use plain clothes and unmarked vehicles so watch out criminals! We may be watching...

Members of the Internal Affairs division investigates misconduct that happens within the ranks of the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office. This division is to uphold our policies and keep our deputies accountable! Fun fact, the Internal Affairs division accepts any and all reports of misconduct, so do your part and report any misbehaving deputies!

The Special Response Team or SRT is the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office tactical team. They are tasked with handling high-risk operations like hostage situations or barricaded suspects. Not only that but they handle search warrants so you criminals better watch out! When housing comes out along with a justice system, search warrants may be placed on your house so expect SRT so show up with a search warrant! Fun fact, SRT has their own uniforms but no tactical helmet! Can you believe it? I think it might be because of their poor funding...

The Training Division of the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office is tasked with training our new department cadets. They are tasked with teaching department policies and guiding each cadet through their stages of training. Fun fact, the Training Division only has 3 people as of January 15th, 2021.
