Please swim responsibly and follow all pool rules. We are looking forward to a fun and peaceful swim season!
The electrical service panel and pump house wiring are being updated, and several lights are being replaced. We are also performing maintenance on the pool and the pool pump. You may notice that the pool level is fluctuating; this is a result of the maintenance and not a problem. Thank you!
The chainlink fence at the north side of the pool and the gate dividing the common area from Calavaras Dr are replaced! Thank you for bringing this need to the Board's attention.
We are aware of the fact that the steel gate facing Calavaras is damaged. The damage is the result of the age of the gate and the adjacent fencing. The board has decided that a thorough repair/replacement is the best course of action and is pursuing that course . We appreciate your patience and understanding. We currently have bids and the project will be underway soon.
The pool newsletter and for information on how to get a pool key will be on your doorstep soon!
First pool key pick up is Saturday 4/27 at 10:00 am at the pool.
Don't know how to get to the pool? There is a dirt path next to the creek on Siskayou that will take you to the pool. There is also a paved path to the pool behind the iron gate on Calavaras Drive.
The pool pump repair is expected to be complete on the morning of Tuesday, 8/30. The pool will reopen as soon as the pump is functioning well and the water is clean and safe. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
On Friday, August 26, the pool pump motor failed and began to generate extreme heat and smoke. Fortunately, some quick-thinking RGHA residents notified the fire department and there were no injuries or major property damage (aside from the pool pump itself). Unfortunately, The pool pool will remain closed until the pump can be repaired or replaced. Fortunately, that may happen as early as Tuesday, August 30, according to the pool maintenance technician. We appreciate your patience during this unexpected pool closure!
Have a question or concern? Want to be more involved in the neighborhood? All community members are welcome to addend HOA meetings. We will meet at the pool on the last Tuesday of every month at 7pm through September unless a different time and date are listed at the top of this website.
The linked newsletter with updated pool hours, clarified pool rules, and an updated voting policy is headed your way. Due to a significant volume of concerning complaints, the pool will now close at 9pm with quiet hours starting at 8pm. Please be considerate of your neighbors and board members time by only reporting (or speaking to a neighbor directly about) major rule violations that clearly violate pool rules or neighborhood CC&R's. All communication with the Ridgeview Gardens Homes Association board must follow official channels. You may email the board (comments@rgha.org), leave a voicemail (707-547-9848), fill out the board contact form, or attend a board meeting and state your concerns during the community input portion of the agenda. Follow this link to access the board contact form. This form is for homeowners only. If you are a renter please speak to your landlord and ask if they can fill out the form for you. Thank you for maintaining respect for your neighbors and neighborhood resources.
Some of the fencing surrounding the pool will be replaced, beginning on Monday, 7/25 at 7:00 am. The pool will remain open, but please give the workers plenty of space and forgive us for the noise and any other inconvenience. Thank you.
Reminder that our beautiful pool belongs to all of us. The HOA has received some complaints regarding unaccompanied minors at the pool. Please be advised that while community members over the age of 14 may come to the pool without an adult, only 18 and older may bring guests. The HOA is working to improve the signage to highlight this important safety rule. Children 14-17 are welcome to have guest at the pool with a parent present. Repeat violations of this, or any of the pool rules, could result in loss of pool privileges. Also, please be mindful of any photographs that you are taking in the pool area. Parents have expressed that they do not want outside parties photographing their children. Finally, if you see activity that is illegal (double check to make sure the activity is actually illegal if you are in doubt) please do not hesitate to call the police. Thank you all for respecting the pool rules and each other. We are very lucky to have the pool as a community resource and we hope everyone can enjoy the space.
It's April 1st, but this is not a prank. The wildflowers on Veteran's Trail (across Summerfield and up either Parktrail or Carissa) and in Annadel State Park are amazing right now. If you have a spare half hour, take some time to explore. It's beautiful!
A neighbor spotted two young gentleman helping their parents pull weeds in the front yard this week. They were smiling and enjoying the task. Great job crew!
A huge thank you to our local fire chief... and our neighbor...for hosting a wildly successful fire preparedness meeting for our community. Over 50 community members attended and since the meeting work commenced to clean up the brush near the creek to help to make our community safer in the event of a fire.
Louise Canfield sadly passed away at the age of 103. She was a dear neighbor and a staple in our community. Her next door neighbors remember fondly how she was outside singing in her backyard daily and how she cared so much for her gardens. Thank you to all of our neighbors who helped to look out for Louise's well being over the years. She will be missed.
Please remember to keep your leaves swept away from the curb so that water can flow into the sewers when there is heavy rainfall. Thanks!
