Hello,
My name is Renee' Pippin, and I am excited for my 1st year as Hulbert-Based Family Specialist. I have worked in education for 15 years total, 13 of those years have been as a Rider. Most people know me as the red-headed big-voiced Pre-K teacher. I hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, elementary education, and I also have a certification in mild to moderate special education, with a master's degree to be earned soon. I have experience working with DHS, Cherokee Nation, Head Start, and other resources for students and families in my career working in Pre-k/Head Start.
A few years ago, I decided that I needed a change of scenery in my career, so I began attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University for my master's degree. My love of making connections with students to help them be successful in school which is what drew me to education in the beginning. School-Based Family Specialist will allow me to continue this passion. One way is to work with stakeholders, such as families, students, educators, and community members, to break down barriers that get in the way of students' success.
Outside of school, I am married to my wonderful husband Josh, and I have 3 boys, ages 17, 13, and 8. I enjoy getting outside in nature, crafting, and traveling.
