Training Philosophy 

We have been teaching since the 1980's. Our focus will be on Virginia Code 18.2-308.02 certification, mental preparation, safety, liability, fundamentals of marksmanship, interfacing with law enforcement, reciprocity, various methods of properly storing a firearm, current legislation among other legal aspects, and ballistics as it relates to home defense. Even if you are active-duty military and an expert shot, this is an excellent course to get you up to date on Virginia gun laws regarding self-defense. 

Each student will have the opportunity to handle different types of handguns to offer a perspective on what type of handgun to purchase. Upon completion of the course, each student will receive a packet with their certification to apply for their Commonwealth of Virginia Concealed Carry Permit.
