Nice analysis of the song and you have minutely observed the entire video. But for the details mentioned by you, I would have missed many things in the video.

I never saw this movie, but know the song, more for the nasal singing prevalent in those years.

You have observed the song in such detail! I have watched neither the song nor the movie.

Cinema has come such a long way from b&w and soundless movies to today's special effects and sleek editing. It's sad that the 'moral of the story' hasn't changed with outdated technology.

Thanks Vinay and JuliaScissor,

Yes, if I do like a song I do tend to look at it very minutely. Thankfully, I think I have been able to stay away from being a 'music critic' who analyzes it so much that the essence gets lost.

V.Shantaram, truly a legend of Indian Cinema. This song is really a great composition and a very well directed one. Truly in 1941, with not much technology available, how creatively this song has been shot. Hats off to Indian Cinema.

Before this year, the highest-paid lyricist of India was Gulzar. At 88, the poet and filmmaker still charges to the tune of Rs 20 lakh for every song he writes. Like Javed Akhtar, Gulzar seldom writes only one song for a film, preferring to write all the songs in any project. Javed Akhtar, who reportedly charges Rs 15 lakh per song usually, had been on the second spot till 2023.

CBFC Chairperson and writer Prasoon Joshi comes at the third spot after the two veterans, charging Rs 10 lakh per song. Composer Vishal Dadlani also earns for every song he writes. At number five is Irshad Kamil, who earns Rs 8-9 lakh for every song he writes. Amitabh Bhattacharya follows him with earnings of around Rs 7-8 lakh per song. Swanand Kirkire sits at number seven, earning Rs 5-6 lakh per song. Rounding off the top 10 are Jaideep Sahni, Sameer Anjaan, and Anwar Faiz, all of whom charge Rs 5 lakh per song.

We all know the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam who used to charge not more than Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 Lakh per song as the highest ever in his career. No South Indian singer had crossed that limit so far.

This Chennai based singer who is also famous with other songs like Matevinaduga, Undiporadhey, Nuvvunte na jathaga, Vacchindamma, Adiga Adiga has agreed to sing a song for "Varudu Kavalenu" of Naga Shourya which is being made on the banner of Sithara Entertainments.

Nandkumar Thakur, the deputy commissioner of police, told Mumbai Mirror, "The singer confessed that he wanted to set a world record for the most number of viewers in 24 hours on YouTube. That is why he paid Rs 72 lakh to this company." The officials claimed that Badshah has confessed to paying for 7.2 crore views for the music video Pagal Hai which garnered 75 million times on the first day of its release. It had made a world record defeating previous records set by Taylor Swift and the Korean boy band BTS. The claim was rejected by Google.
