RicoLayer Events started as a passion project for Roneka Jones, founder, creative director, and lead event coordinator.

She is a certified plan-lover and began this company hosting potlucks for friends. It’s always been about ‘What do you need?’ and ‘How can I help you?’ than it was about herself.

This is the reason we focus on community engagement. Our origin and journey are about bringing people together, helping them establish genuine human connections, and serving them well.

Years later, what was once a hobby and small favors for friends and family,  grew into a mission to create and serve a community in Sacramento.
