Privacy Policy for Ricochet

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Ricochet ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), developed by Andrew Yau, handles information when you use it. By downloading or using the App, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: None. Ricochet does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information.
Information stored on your device: The App saves your game progress, settings, purchases (in-game credits), and cosmetic choices locally on your device. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data.
Information collected automatically by advertising: The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect and process certain information, including:
A device advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID)
Device information (such as device model, operating system, and language)
IP address and approximate, non-precise location derived from it
Information about your interaction with ads (such as views and clicks)
We do not collect or have access to this information ourselves; it is collected directly by Google AdMob.
How Information Is Used
Information collected by AdMob is used to display advertisements (which may be personalized), to measure ad performance, and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse. Locally stored game data is used only to run the game and remember your progress on your device.

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Google's handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy:

Your Choices
You can control ad personalization and your advertising identifier through your device settings:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.
Opting out does not remove ads, but they will no longer be personalized.
Children's Privacy
Ricochet is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will address it.
Data Security
Because Ricochet does not collect or store personal information on our own servers, there is no personal account data for us to secure. Any data handled by Google AdMob is protected under Google's own security practices.
Data Retention
Game data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies.
International Users
The App is available globally. Advertising data may be processed by Google in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
Delete Your Account — Ricochet
If you signed in to Ricochet with your Google account, you can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time.
Delete from within the app (recommended)
Open Ricochet
Go to Settings → Account
Tap 🗑 Delete account and confirm
This permanently deletes your account and your cloud save data (game progress, credits, and purchases synced to your account). Progress stored only on your device is not affected. This action cannot be undone.
Delete by request
If you can no longer access the app, email us at andrewgames123123@gmail.com from the Google account you used to sign in, with the subject "Delete my Ricochet account." We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
Your account link (Google user ID, name, and email address)
Your cloud save data (game progress, credits, cosmetics, and stats)
No other data is retained by us after deletion. Data collected by Google AdMob for advertising is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
