What is the RSVP Deadline? 

August 10th, 2025

What is the attire? 

We want everyone to feel stylin'/sexy/ready to dance the night away! 

Color theme: Jewel tones (see image to the right) 

Theme: Bohemian Formal (Google it!) 

Can I bring a date? 

Please check your invitation. If it says +1 then you are welcome to bring a date. Please note in your RSVP if you are not using your +1.

Can I bring my kids?

If your kids are invited, their names will be on the invitation envelope.  Please reach out to Rickie and Jordan with any additional questions. 

Can I bring my dog?

This is not a dog event. Please do not bring your pets to the ceremony or reception. 

What will the weather be like?

September in Michigan can go any way it wants! It might be 85'F and sunny or it might be partly cloudy and windy. It never hurts to wear layers. The ceremony and reception are in grassy areas so please wear appropriate footwear. 

Where should I stay?

We have a room block at the Crooked River Lodge. Many families are staying at AirBnB's, and there are LOTS of hotels around. Make your reservation ASAP as Petoskey/Alanson is a tourist area and things book up quickly! 

What is the parking situation? 

The ceremony is at Hal/Gail Willens' home. There will be valet parking at the ceremony only. At the reception there is a  public parking lot a three minute walk from the reception tent. 

Is transportation provided? 

No. 

What if I have dietary restrictions? 

There is a question on the RSVP form where you may write a detailed description of your dietary restrictions. Note: Most food will be gluten free and much of it is vegetarian. 

When should I arrive at the ceremony? 

The ceremony begins at 3:00pm. Please arrive  at least 15 minutes before it begins to be seated. Valet for guests will be available starting at 2:30pm so you can come walk through the garden before the ceremony begins. 

Can I take photos during the ceremony? 

We have hired photographers to capture the ceremony. We would love for the ceremony to be unplugged (no phones). During the reception please take as many photos as you want!
