Customer Churn Analysis — EnergyAustralia
Business problem: reduce customer churn at Australia's third-largest energy company, whose active customer base was declining.
Approach: customer segmentation (K-means) and predictive modelling (Random Forest, XGBoost, Decision Tree) on 14,606 client records and 193,000+ price records, with data validation in Excel and visualisation in Tableau.
Insight: two customer segments (C4 and C1) drive over 85% of profitability — a tuned Random Forest model (86% accuracy, AUC 0.888) enabled a targeted 15% discount strategy for high-value customers and gas cross-selling.

Real Estate Investment Analysis — Boston Airbnb
Business problem: recommend which neighbourhood and property type is most profitable to invest in, based on 6,247 Boston Airbnb listings (Jan 2019–Jan 2020).
Approach: data cleaning in Excel, exploratory analysis in Tableau, and a final investment recommendation.
Insight: Back Bay, West End and Kenmore are the most profitable neighbourhoods — with peak occupancy of 76.4% in December and 1–2 bedroom properties within 5.5 km of downtown delivering the strongest returns.
