These are the books for The Trials of Apollo (including companion books) and summaries of them.
Apollo, the once glorious God of the Sun, music, poetry, and more, has been cast down to Earth as punishment by Zeus. Now he is an awkward mortal teenager named Lester Papadopoulos. In order to regain his place on Mount Olympus, Lester must restore five Oracles that have gone dark. But how is he supposed to accomplish this task without having any godly powers? It's time to recruit some help. A certain demigod named Percy Jackson shows him where he needs to go: a training camp on Long Island called Camp Half-Blood.
Zeus has punished his son Apollo–god of the sun, music, archery, poetry, and more–by casting him down to earth in the form of a gawky, acne-covered sixteen-year-old mortal named Lester. The only way Apollo can reclaim his rightful place on Mount Olympus is by restoring several Oracles that have gone dark. What is affecting the Oracles, and how can Apollo/Lester do anything about them without his powers? After experiencing a series of dangerous–and frankly, humiliating–trials at Camp Half-Blood, Lester must now leave the relative safety of the demigod training ground and embark on a hair-raising journey across North America. Fortunately, what he lacks in godly graces he’s gaining in new friendships–with heroes who will be very familiar to fans of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series. Come along for what promises to be a harrowing, hilarious, and haiku-filled ride.
It's bad enough that Zeus changed the once divine Apollo into a mortal teenager with acne, flab, and the unfortunate alias Lester Papadopoulos. On top of that, Zeus enslaved him to a pushy twelve-year-old named Meg, and he expects the now powerless Lester to liberate five ancient Oracles from a trio of evil Roman emperors.
So far, Lester has managed to restore two Oracles and receive a prophecy about "mazes dark," "lands of scorching death," and a "master of the swift white horse." Now he and Meg must journey through the Labyrinth, parts of which are venting hellfire, to find the third emperor. But is their cloven guide, Grover Underwood, up to the task? Are any of them? Lester has his suspicions about who the third emperor is...a villainous tyrant he never wants to run into again.
Find out whether Apollo keeps his cool or becomes toast in this sizzling new adventure.
It’s not easy being Apollo, especially when you’ve been turned into a human and banished from Olympus. On his path to restoring five ancient Oracles and reclaiming his godly powers, Apollo (aka Lester Papadopoulos) has faced both triumphs and tragedies. Now his journey takes him to Camp Jupiter in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the Roman demigods are preparing for a desperate last stand against the evil Triumvirate of Roman emperors. Hazel, Reyna, Frank, Tyson, Ella, and many other old friends will need Apollo’s aid to survive the onslaught. Unfortunately, the answer to their salvation lies in the forgotten tomb of a Roman ruler . . . someone even worse than the emperors Apollo has already faced
After spending six months as a teenager named Lester, Apollo is nowing reaching his endgame (thank the gods). The battle for Camp Jupiter is over. New Rome is safe. Tarquin and his army of the undead have been defeated. And somehow Apollo has made it out alive.
But though the battle may have been won, the war is is far from over.
Now Apollo and Meg must get ready for the final - and, let's face it, proably fatal - adventure. They're heading back to where their troubles begin: Manhatten. They must face the last emperor, the terrifying Nero, and destory him once and for all.
Can Apollo find his godly form again?
Will Meg be able to face up to her troubled past?
Destiny awaits...
Camp Half-Blood Confidential explores much more than just the buildings and grounds. It includes info that can only be learned from those who live there. For instance, campers do not always co-exist in peace and harmony. The camp is not run with superior efficiency. Prophecies do not flow forth with great regularity. Sprinkled throughout are stories from heroes who have called Camp Half-Blood home or just passed through on their way to places unknown. Chiron himself introduces the book with a brief history of training based on his millennia of experience. And, of course, divine words of wisdom from the god Apollo himself are included, because the demigod authors would prefer not to be struck down by him, thank you very much.
